Revocable Living Trusts

The most common is the Revocable Living Trust, a relatively inexpensive and comprehensive document which controls the management and distribution of your assets not only at your death, but during your living time as well (this is why it is called a “Living Trust”).  With a Living Trust you can achieve the same objectives as with a will, but also:

  • Avoid having your estate go through the lengthy and expensive probate process at your death
  • Include provisions directing the management of your assets during your lifetime if you become temporarily or permanently unable to manage them yourself.
  • Keep your estate administration OUT of the public record and protect your family’s privacy.
